LightSquared plans to its terrestrial wireless network soon, despite an authorisation, which is the cause of resistance to other GPS provider and not to be, at least until the construction begin in mid-August.
"We can begin for the expansion of the network without activating it," said Martin Harriman, executive Vice President of LightSquared, in an interview on Thursday. "We start short deployments, we have base stations in the production and... our first units are forthcoming."
