Version 9.0 of EnterpriseDB now available is the Oracle-compatible database with new support for Hewlett Packard HP-UX operating system, the company announced on Thursday.
Oracle has said recently it would stop, develop new versions of its database and other software for Intel Itanium chips, used HP Server systems along with HP-UX. The decision sparked a controversy that ultimately led HP to file of a lawsuit against Oracle, say movement was in violation of the agreements between the companies
