E reader usage doubled in six months, tablets grow more slowly

U.S. consumers use e-readers such as Amazon Kindle and Barnes & noble nook, faster than tablet computers like the Apple iPad or Samsung Galaxy tab
A new survey by Pew Internet project shows that the proportion of American adults who own that an e-reader has doubled in just six months to 12 percent in May 2011 by 6 percent in November 2010.
Tablet property also rose during the same period, but more slowly than before.
